The morning started off cold and damp, but it wasn’t raining. Then, about 30 mins after the meet started, it started drizzling. Even though the weather wasn’t agreeable, plenty of people still showed up, and several brought out some unique rides.
There was a military truck that came out there for the first time, and we also saw the “Cousin Eddie RV” show back up after a long hiatus. The Lamborghini guys did not stay at home jsut because of the weather, and arrived in a pack. They help sponsor the event, and always have a noticeable presence at the meet.
The Exomotive LS3-powered V8 came out in the rain, and had to drive home in the rain – definitely a handful. The gentleman with the Lamborghini-powered custom motorcycle also brought it out in the rain – luckily he had a trailer there to get it back home though.
Car clubs showed up in force, and the Mopar and Mustang clubs easily show up with the most people each month, but this month, it was quite clear – the Mopars easily had more people than any other group.
