January’s Caffeine and Octane meet started off cold and wet. It was drizzling in the morning, and the temperature was around freezing. This kept many of the regulars from showing, and not many of the classics, hot rods, or exotics showed up. Most of the Porsche owners also stayed home. The Romeo club also was a no-show.
There were a few cars to note though. One of the regular attendees brought out his brand new Audi RS7 to the meet, and the owner of Kong’s Body Shop brought out his turbo’ed NSX. A white McLaren made it out also, but I did not get a chance to get a photo of it this month.
The local Mustang S197 group showed up in force, and there were quite a few Audi owners this month.
Overall, somewhere between 200-300 cars showed up even with it wet and cold. While only a tiny fraction of what normally shows up, it is still better than most other cities manage in good weather.
Below are a little over 150 photos from the meet, with several photos of some of the cars that I focused on a little bit more than others.
